Ask a questionWhat is the difference between Essential, Premium and Elite?
Essential plans are the affordable foundation, covering routine care and emergencies. Premium plans add broader hospital cover and day-to-day benefits, often through a Medical Savings Account. Elite plans give the most extensive cover with wider provider choice and advanced benefits.
Who can join and how do I enrol?
Individuals, families and businesses can join, depending on the plan. You can enrol online, through a broker or by contacting Health Alert directly.
Are pre-existing conditions covered?
Pre-existing conditions are covered after a waiting period, with condition-specific requirements. Preventive services such as vaccinations, screenings and health check-ups are included. Please confirm the terms of your chosen plan before enrolling.
How are premiums calculated?
Premiums can depend on age, plan type and the number of dependants. You can pay by debit order, card or online payment.
How do I submit a claim?
Claims can be submitted online or with help from our support team, in line with your plan rules.
